Are you sending cold emails?
Don't neglect this in your outreach
Hey there,
Cold email is one of best forms of lead generation today.
Here are some screenshots of results I’ve gotten in the past week for a client.

If you run a business that targets other businesses, outreach is a must to fill your pipeline.
Better yet, if your ICP works at their computer all day long and needs to hit inbox-zero for their job, that makes them an ideal target for cold e-mail.
A common problem of people who have tried cold e-mail is that they are simply not doing enough volume.
However, that might not be the only problem.
Here are some other indicators of success in cold email:
Targeted Lead List
Anyone can look up on Youtube how to scrape leads with Apollo.
While I still use Apollo myself, I consider these leads to be saturated as they get a ton of cold emails every day.
That’s why in my agency, we exhaust all sources based on the type of clients you are trying to target.
Our goal is to source as many high quality leads in your entire target market as possible.
We double target them through cold e-mail, Linkedin outreach campaigns, and we can also target leads that come through from your website (if you have RB2B set up).
Deliverability
Deliverability hygiene is key to landing in inbox.
Diversifying your infrastructure, cleaning your lead lists, not sending more than the allowable limits per email account, rotating domains if needed.
It’s a landscape that is constantly changing.
AI personalization
This one is my personal favourite because I like getting nerdy with Clay.
I build customized tables and bring in various API keys to enrich lead data, and come up with hyper customized emails that can be sent at scale.
Believe it or not, we literally get compliments on my cold emails all the time.
(by the way, Clay.com just raised another $40M and is now valued to be a $1.25B company. That’s absolutely insane.)
Response Time
Cold leads are naturally distrusting and one way we build trust is to respond ASAP.
The faster you can respond to an interested lead, the higher the likelihood you will convert that lead into a call.
In my agency, we will also warm call the best leads which is helps with converting interest into actual booked meetings.
Copywriting
Cold e-mail is part art, part science.
The science is getting the infrastructure and domains set up properly so we land in inbox.
That’s just half the equation.
The purpose of a cold email isn’t just to land in inbox, it’s to actually illicit a response.
We do that through the copy.
The copy is probably the most important part of the e-mail.
Does it illicit an emotion or evoke a response by hitting the exact pain point that your prospect is struggling with or right before they buy?
Remember that people buy based on emotion and they justify with logic.
Every word counts in a cold e-mail.
If it’s too long, contains excessive jargon, or is not easily digestible, it will be ignored.
Best,
Alice
P.S. If you run a service based business that targets other businesses, I can book you 5-10 calls a month with qualified hot leads. I do all the work for you and you just need to show up to the call and talk to the prospect.
