Does This Sound Familiar?
If you:
make 500k a year;
are over the age of 35; or
live somewhere with affordable housing
You honestly won’t relate to this e-mail.
But if that’s not the case.. keep reading.
Does this sound familiar?
You’re in your late 20’s or early 30’s.
You worked hard in school.
You got the degree.
You are working to climb up the corporate ladder.
But for some reason, you're still counting down the days until your next pay day.
You watch Youtube videos all day long at work, wondering whether you have what it takes to be a content creator.
You wonder why you have to pay 30% tax on your income (Canada problems)
You wonder how you’re going to afford a big wedding.
You wonder how you’re going to buy the car that you want.
You wonder if you're ever going to afford a house.
You wonder whether life will be better the next time you get a raise or bonus.
This is exactly how I used to feel.
I have nothing against careers and 9-5 jobs.
I have many ex-coworkers that I look up to and respect.
I also have friends who work in managerial and executive positions in corporate.
And I literally help other career coaches close their sales calls.
I believe that in order to become a good entrepreneur, you must first learn how to be a good employee.
.. but I just knew that being stuck in a spreadsheet for the next 40 years, being told when I’m allowed to eat lunch, counting down the days until payday… wasn't the long term life for me.
Some people like chocolate ice cream but others prefer vanilla.
