How Are You Adapting In The AI World?
Failure to thrive in life is the inability to adapt to change.
I am a very “forward” thinker that is obsessed with doing things better.
I like to implement faster than other people.
I like having access to the best strategies/tech/systems before everyone else.
I recently heard of some bigger corporations mandating that their staff should not be using AI.
I kind of just laughed and rolled my eyes to the back of my head.
Any time there is a new tech or business breakthrough, a portion of businesses will be wiped out in the long term due to failure to adapt.
I’ve seen this happen a few times in the accounting industry where companies that still use paper are forced to sell at a disadvantageous price.
If you are worried that your staff are going to be lazy because of AI, you don’t have an AI problem.
You have a lazy staff problem.
AI cannot turn an ambitious hard worker into a lazy slob - it’s not THAT magical.
I get it though - people hate change.
It’s hard and stressful on the nervous system to adapt and change to new things.
The best people learn how to use AI to move faster, keep clients happier, and be more productive at everything.
I train my team to use AI and encourage them to use it.
We always add human touch + decision making to everything.
This allows us to stay on top of the game and deliver the best results for our clients.
See the difference?
Example - If a company successfully automates all their bookkeeping, it significantly reduces human error. The human touch is then having someone oversee accuracy of the output, and to make the right decisions with the output. It’s a 100% win-win.
If you’re an owner or decision maker at a company, don’t be like that accounting firm that still uses paper in 2025.
If you’re not an owner or decision maker, find a way to show your boss how he/she can use AI to get better results for their clients and customers. That is a great career tip for those people who work for forward thinking bosses that compensate based on merit.
