My Linkedin Discoveries

I almost didn't want to spill the secrets

Hey guys,

I almost didn’t want to make this e-mail because I don’t want to share the secret tea.

If you’ve been reading my emails, you know that I’ve been posting more on Linkedin.

I already got 3 inbound leads and closed my first deal today, no questions asked.

I barely even have any followers and have only been “alive” on the platform for less than 2 weeks.

It’s pretty cool that it’s not that saturated.

Also, it made me realize that making $ with social media is a completely transferrable skill across all platforms.

The same selling strategies that work on Youtube work on Linkedin and work on Instagram.

The only difference is the packaging of the content.

Selling wise, it’s same process whether you sell accounting services or fitness coaching or lead gen or a SaaS product.

  • Run traffic to your socials

  • Sell something that people want

  • Articulate their pain points clearly (the more niche the better)

  • Be extremely clear on who you are, your story, and what you sell

  • Show leads what you know

  • Close deals

  • Repeat

Maybe it’s because I’ve been on SM for a while now, but content feels like plug-n-play now.

Also, closing on warm traffic is 100x easier than closing on cold traffic.

Here is a screen cap of an account I’m growing. You can see I started on the week of Dec 7.
