What I've Been Up To

First 2 weeks of January

Welcome to today’s edition of my newsletter 🙂

It’s two weeks into the new year already.

If you’re curious to know what I’ve been to…

I finally bit the bullet and hired professional videographers.

This is a decision that I mulled on for a long time but knew it was a necessary investment.

Also it is currently my biggest bottleneck and where I need help the most.

I was talking to someone a few months back that gave me some pretty direct feedback that my content was not high effort enough.

Especially short form.

Sitting down and just talking to a camera now is considered low effort in the content world.

Especially in a world where we content creators are competing for the click and watch time.

For the rest of this year, I’m aiming to have more production quality style videos, filming in slog, cinematic b-roll, and videos that capture more attention.

Funny enough, the value and the content itself does not need to change.

As entrepreneurs we have to hire to cover for our weaknesses.

I am good at speaking, but I am not a creative type.

Nor am I a tech person.

I also recently launched a new community where I go deeper into Youtube marketing, analytics, how to go viral, and my best secrets on videos in general.

If you are a coach, service provider, or consultant that wants to learn how to sell high ticket and leverage digital marketing (funnels, emails) to sign clients, this is the group for you to join. It’s free and absolutely packed with value.
